Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

I photographed this patch with permission from the Rolling Thunder Vet who owned the bike. To me, it says everything.

Veterans treated appallingly despite their sacrifice. Even being investigated for past affairs.

As a veteran myself I will proudly stand and support all who served. Lest we forget all the sacrifices of our brave men and women of our armed forces

I cannot even begin to imagine what you go through in times of battle. My father was a young radio officer in the Dutch Royal Naval Airforce stationed in Swindon,Kent all those years ago. At one time his was the only plane in his squadron to return, battered , to base . Young men and women have sacrificed so very much and deserve so much more in terms of support, respect and post service care. We salute you

A big thanks for those who have served. And for those who still serve to keep us all safe. Especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifices . We will remember.
