Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

From the Second World War and National Service to the Falklands, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served and sacrificed for our country. For some, the consequences of service last a lifetime.

Whether you’ve served yourself, have family who served, or believe that those who gave so much for our country deserve to know they haven’t been forgotten join Simon Weston CBE in signing the Armed Forces Pledge.

Add your name and, if you wish, leave a message of thanks, remembrance or support. It’s free to sign.

One of my grandfathers was on HMS Rodney during the attack and sinking of The Bismarck and my other grandfather was in the Merchant Navy and he was torpedoed and ended up in the water on three occasions.Every Man and Woman willing to sacrifice their lives in an effort to keep the rest of us safe should be treated above everyone else especially once they retire from the military for without people like our grandparents and everyone who serves we as a people would not exist today so I thank each and everyone of you.

Devastated that we won’t see our friend Peter who is a war, blinded veteran and is being moved from Linburn Centre Sight Scotland Veterans at Wilkieston, West Lothian as they are being evicted from the sight. Absolutely awful as he has loads of friends around him there.
