Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

My Grandson was shot in Afghanistan and invalided out of the army (Royal Anglians). His physical injuries have healed but PTSD has returned leaving him unable to work. I admire you guys so much and thank you for serving our country In trying to preserve the Afghans’ freedom. It is so sad to see the state of the country today under the Taliban regime.

Some veterans will always need support. Keep up pressure on the body which uses HM forces to undertake their heavy lifting. The government.

So proud of our armed forces past and present and they should be recognised as the heroes that they are and treated by our government as such, I find it disgusting that our government can look after illegal immigrants in five star hotels while our veterans have to resort to charities to get by.

It is about time that veterans had better access in getting the help and support that they need. Be this medical, mental health, or just someone, or somewhere that they can go to without long waiting lists.

We gave up our health to support the United Kingdom, and the lack of appreciation is demoralising.
