Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

I am deeply proud of the time I served in the RAF. Being part of the veterans family is a huge privilege and one we should all value.

    Veterans should never be forgotten.

I am not a serving member of the armed forces, my grandad fought in the 2nd world war & two of uncles served, one in the army & one in the navy.. the one and maybe only thing I have the utmost respect & pride for in our country at the moment, is our armed forces.. thank you so much for all your service & sacrifice you made & make for our safety & reassurance. I’m so glad I met one of your advocates a few months ago, who explained what your charity does, I wish I could give more.. thank you so much, kind regards, William may

Having served 26 years and being a veteran myself, I wish to support all veterans who need help. I believe that there should be better support across the board for those have served and sacrificed. The Veterans’ Foundation is a great start and I applaud the work that they are doing on behalf of those in need.

Veterans have always been treated appallingly but at least while I was in you knew the Queen and the Government stood behind you, Now I don’t think they do. Service personnel need some form of halfway house when they come out that provides accommodation and any required training until ready to enter civilian life.
