Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

To those who put the nations welfare before their own, their comrade in arms lives above theirs and live with the consequences of real choice, we are honoured and proud to call you our veterans.

I came home and I was OK, but so many weren’t. We all owe them and their loved ones a huge debt. And huge respect to those who came after us and put themselves in harms way to keep us all safe.

It’s ironic that all the sacrifices our veterans and current service personnel have made preserve the freedom for those who ignore, berate, betray and even abuse them. God bless you all.

To all our veterans, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can’t imagine the sacrifices you’ve made or what you’ve been through. You deserve our gratitude, respect and most of all support – not just while serving, but when you come home, the government needs to step up more to support you all. Thank you Julia

Thank you for your service. The sacrifices you all made. The families you missed the special events you missed. For protecting our Country and people.

Respect to everyone who served irrespective of cap badge or service; especially to those who have left with injuries that will change their lives.

The real tragedy remains that help after service is still dependent on charity.

I always have the highest regard for all our armed forces. Its despicable how the government treats the people who lay down their lives only to be abandoned after leaving. The British people love you all.
