Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

I see you, and I appreciate you.

You give up time with your families, put yourselves in harm’s way and carry burdens most of us will never understand – often for nowhere near the recognition or support you deserve.

Too often, our servicemen and women are praised when needed, blamed for decisions made by politicians, and then seemingly forgotten when the uniform comes off. Veterans should never have to fight to be supported by the country they served.

Whatever anyone thinks about governments, wars or foreign policy, the individual soldier, sailor or aviator should not be the scapegoat.

To those serving today, and to our veterans: you are not forgotten.

Some of us see the sacrifice.

Some of us remember what you have done for this country.

And some of us are deeply grateful for it.

    Thank you for your service.
