Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

No words are adequate to express my gratitude and admiration for all of our military personnel, especially for those that paid a hefty price for serving.

    Thank you!

I’ve seen the sacrifices made by the armed forces and truly thank them for it.

Sadly sometimes with the ultimate sacrifice.

I only hope our governments begin to sincerely appreciate the men and women who keep the country and our world safe .

Your service means more than you will ever know. Your sacrifice is noted and I honour you for it, as well as all those who have served before you and all those who will in the future. I respect the choices that you have made and am forever endepted to you, on my own behalf and my family’s.

Veterans should be the first priority of the Government. How can we ask for a sacrifice that is not reciprocated.

As a veteran of the 70’s and 80’s, including the Falkland war, I can say how proud I am of every one of you, sailor, soldier and airmen alike, and my heart goes out to you all. I suffer from PTSD, but that’s nothing compared with what many of you brave women and men have suffered. For the past, the present and the future, be proud of being a member of the British military family.

As the wife of a veteran I see first hand the sacrifices made and the long term impact, and while I am eternally grateful for our armed forces, I equally see the damage they can sustain and often a lack of support afterward.
