Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

For 36 years I have had the privilege of working as a Civil Servant alongside the Royal Engineers. I have seen first-hand the dedication, professionalism, courage and commitment of our military personnel. I feel incredibly proud to have played my small part in supporting those who serve. My husband also proudly served 27 years with the Royal Engineers, I have experienced Army life not only through my career but also through my family. This pledge is my personal way of saying thank you to every member of Armed Forces, past and present, for your service, your courage and everything you do for our country. It has been an honour to spend 36 years alongside you. Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. CR

The government should be ashamed of themselves for the way veterans are treated in this country those and elderly should be top priority and yet here they are not really given a hoot about them.
