Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

Have signed. I grew up in the generation that never knew war, but my grandfather was a stretcher bearer with the Staffords at Passchedaele and my father was on HMS Jamaica on arctic convoy duty trading salvos with the likes of the Lutzow and Scharnhorst.

It’s about time our government looked after our service men and women who without question keep us safe. My hope is this government recognise our forces not just on Poppy Day but every day. From the bottom of my heart thank you for your service, god bless you all x

Growing up in a naval family and marrying a sailor, I know firsthand how hard our naval services work. I admire all armed forces members and thank them for their service and sacrifice.
