Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

I have lost 2 members of my immediate family to suicide, my mum and my sister. Anything that can prevent another family from the heartache deserves support. They didn’t leave us because they wanted to go but because they couldn’t stay.

All veterans should be remembered and should be looked after by the government, after all they served to protect this country of ours.

My son served and was traumatised by his time in Afghanistan. Unfortunately his PTSD was not acknowledged as he kept it hidden for so long, the specialised help was not offered soon enough and civilian mental health and addiction services were not equipped to help veterans as they have no understanding of the training our armed service personnel go through. When help was eventually offered it was too late and 4years ago he died by suicide.

🇬🇧 FROM THE LEIGH FOB CIC — WE STAND WITH OUR VETERANS. 🫡❤️

Having proudly served 25 years in the British Army, from the Queen’s Lancashire Regiment through the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment to 3 RANGER, I know first-hand the sacrifices made by our Armed Forces community.

But our duty to one another does not end when we take off the uniform.

That is why we established The Leigh FOB CIC — a veteran-led organisation built on Brotherhood • Sisterhood • Family • Support.

Every veteran deserves to be remembered, respected, valued and supported. Whether they served yesterday or 70 years ago, their service mattered, their sacrifices mattered, and they still matter today.

At The Leigh FOB CIC, our message is simple:

❤️ YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. AND YOU WILL ALWAYS BE ONE OF US.

The uniform may come off, but the brotherhood never does.

We proudly support the Armed Forces Pledge and stand shoulder to shoulder with every generation of our Armed Forces family.

Our mission is to ensure that no veteran faces life’s battles alone. Through friendship, understanding, a listening ear and genuine support, we are building a Forward Operating Base in civilian life — somewhere veterans can regroup, reconnect and move forward together.

🇬🇧 DIFFERENT REGIMENTS • DIFFERENT SERVICES • ONE VETERAN FAMILY.

    🫡 NOBODY GETS LEFT BEHIND.
