Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

Our veterans are quite possibly the most important community in the country. They have over generations, determined our national security and protected our sovereignty. They should be honoured in perpetuity.

This country will be needing the veterans before much longer. It cannot, and must not, continue in the direction of self destruction that it is heading in.

I did not serve in Her Majesties armed forces to see this happen to my country.

Am I annoyed? Yes I am. You have my support.

My father and my husband both served in the RAF. I grew up with a massive extended family. Sadly forces life has changed and many feel alone and isolated. My husband went to a RS&G day club until he died in September. I have spoken to some there and on the phone with RAFA. I have felt amazingly supported. I pray as you read messages and see the names, wherever you are and no matter how difficult life is, may you too feel supported and encouraged to step forward every day. Bless you all.
