The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

    My husband is a veteran. Lost a limb in 1968

    Needs a new knee but NHS keeps delaying it. Thank you all who served. I was RAF in 66/67.

    Make this stand as it does in other countries Australia America most of Europe and South Africa as it is 2100 hrs every night where ever that may be they stop and their national anthem is played in recognition of our Armed Forces
