Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

People lay peaceably abed at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf – George Orwell and others.

This could have been my beloved son who served for 16 years in the army inc one tour of Iraq and one tour of Afghanistan. Sadly he died in April 2024 from a heart virus, unrelated to his service, having been employed as a civilian with the Fleet Air Arm in Yeovilton.
