Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

I am forever humbled by the sacrifices made by our veterans especially those with unimaginable injuries, some clearly visible and some struggling with mental health. I stand with them 🥰

My father was in the Air Force in WWII.

    It left him damaged.

People who serve often become invisible, very sadly. Even his family couldn’t bear to really engage.

Our service people are utterly awesome.

God bless them all. We should and must treasure them

No veteran ever asks for the publics respect. But we imagine that our own government would atleast respect us. But sadly they don’t

I’m the ultra-proud father of a (now retired) RE WO2 who served in Iraq and ‘Ghan. We thank God that he came home each time in one piece……apart from hearing and PTSD issues. Bless you all.

You are all our first line of defence. You have sacrificed your lives for the British people. Wars fought to protect us. I’m always thinking of you all. My Grandad was in the 2nd world war, and my Dad was in the air force. I’ll always support our men and women for what they give to us. Thank you all very much indeed

I am a 78 yr old Royal Navy veteran. Nothing serious, though I lost 50% of my hearing. I sobbed at my discharge. In retrospect I am lucky, but feel terrible for those who have lost far more than I. Losing limbs, PTSD etc or worse. God bless those who are suffering..
