Clifford Boucher signed Armed Forces Pledge 2026-10-01 11:53:43 +0100I have lost family members who joined the armed forces and sacrificed their lives because they believed they were fighting for their families, friends and communities and, just as importantly, protecting the freedoms and justice that are fundamental to a sovereign state such as the UK. Whilst successive community leaders and governments have often squandered that belief in the pursuit of self-interest, it is essential that those of us who cherish it show our support for those who have fought for it and for those who continue to do so.
