Christine Mulligan signed Armed Forces Pledge 2026-10-01 11:54:00 +0100Our brave, brave men who’ve been to hell and back and in many cases maimed mentally, physically as well as emotionally for the rest of their lives. Gave the ultimate sacrifice during war. They need our continued support, to access the right services and to assist them in many ways.
My great-grandfather Duncan Hendry was part of the a tyneside scottish inthe first world war.. he was on the Somme snd only 7 returned from a contingency of about 260 men… utter tragic circumstances. He wouldn’t talk about what he witnessed there.. but obviously the horror and ultimate annihilation of brave men sacrificing their young lives there.. for King and country and freedom.. we will never forget the price these veterens have paid and many still need support from recent wars.Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans
