We need to spread more awareness to the general public about the homelessness veterans are having to deal with. It’s not a choice, many suffer from mental illness due to the horrors they have witnessed and suffer from PTSD. They have fought to keep us safe, as well as people in other parts of the world.
We owe them the greatest gratitude, please do all you can to help these men and women, they served our country with honour and should be treated with the respect they deserve.
We need to find suitable accommodation for these brave people, it would be a start. Write to local MP’s and the Government. This is an absolute tradgedy, we should be ashamed as a country who turn a blind eye to these brave and courageous people.Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans
The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.
More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.
