John Owen signed Armed Forces Pledge 2026-10-02 10:22:43 +0100Thank you to all our veterans and current serving ladies and gentlemen. Your sacrifice, whether that be physical injuries, psychological issues, or just being away from loved ones for extended periods, is very much valued in my household and we are extremely grateful to all of you.
I lost a friend of 46 years in March 2026 aged just 56 from a stroke. He joined the 2LI in 1986 aged just 16 and had many years of service. He is the reason I have joined the Veterans’ Foundation. He was a far better man than I could ever dream of being and I miss him every day.
I pray for our veterans and active military ladies and gentlemen daily and ask God to keep them safe and for him to help those who are suffering from any physical injuries or mental health problems.
God bless you all and thank you.Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans
