I have the greatest respect for, and give my grateful thanks to, all Service personnel, both past and present. With my father (now deceased) a WWII veteran, I lived with his experience of sacrifice as a leg amputee, and had nothing but admiration for him and how he dealt with the challenge this presented to him throughout his long, well-lived life.
