Joanne Bowmer signed Armed Forces Pledge 2026-10-08 11:01:58 +0100As the wife of a veteran, and someone who has spent over 25 years connected to the Armed Forces community, this is something incredibly close to my heart.
I’ve seen military life from the perspective of a girlfriend, a wife waiting for someone to come home from operational tours, and now as a veteran’s wife.
I’ve seen the sacrifices, the separations, the homecomings and the challenges that don’t simply disappear when someone takes off their uniform for the last time.
Today, I have the privilege of supporting serving personnel, veterans and their families through my work, and I will never take that responsibility lightly.
To every person who has served, and to the families who have stood beside them, thank you.
From my Kingsman to your Guardsman, Rifleman and every other cap badge. Your service, your sacrifices and your families will never be forgotten. ❤️Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans
