Sidney Quill signed Armed Forces Pledge 2026-10-10 12:53:44 +0100I had six elder brothers in the last war, and my father, an Old Contemptible in the Boar war, and all through the First World War. Due to injuries I received in the Blitz on London, 1940, I was graded in 1944, resulting in my doing National Service from 1946-48, as a body Flight Mechanic on Mosquito fighter bombers in the R.A.F., when I enjoyed two flights in that beautiful aircraft. Never regretted my experience in the services.!!
