Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

Thank you to all our veterans and current serving ladies and gentlemen. Your sacrifice, whether that be physical injuries, psychological issues, or just being away from loved ones for extended periods, is very much valued in my household and we are extremely grateful to all of you.

I lost a friend of 46 years in March 2026 aged just 56 from a stroke. He joined the 2LI in 1986 aged just 16 and had many years of service. He is the reason I have joined the Veterans’ Foundation. He was a far better man than I could ever dream of being and I miss him every day.

I pray for our veterans and active military ladies and gentlemen daily and ask God to keep them safe and for him to help those who are suffering from any physical injuries or mental health problems.

God bless you all and thank you.

Being a member of the Armed Forces was the greatest thing to experience with the great comradeship throughout the Services and different cap badges which are so supportive to each other.

My husband served in the army and has PTSD but like every veteran we cope with it. My son has just done 20 years in the Royal Navy and I am very proud as a wife and mother that you all served your Queen and King in coming forward to protect our country .

Our veterans must be both respected and protected, we relied on them to protect us, now they rely on us to protect them, we must never forget them
