Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

Thank you so very much for your service and sacrifice to keep our country safe. My grandfather was Sergeant James Henry Evason of the Grenadier Guards and he died on 10th September 1943, during the Salerno Landings in Italy. Members from every generation of my family, since then, have been to the war graves to visit him and let him know he is not forgotten. I never met him in life, but I love him very much and am proud to be his granddaughter. I hope that the veterans of today can know that this applies to them also. The inscription on my grandfather’s grave stone reads, ‘To live in the hearts of those who loved him is not to die.’
