Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

No matter if we always agree with what the government does; does not change the fact that the people who have the courage to stand up and be counted are a rare breed

I had six elder brothers in the last war, and my father, an Old Contemptible in the Boar war, and all through the First World War. Due to injuries I received in the Blitz on London, 1940, I was graded in 1944, resulting in my doing National Service from 1946-48, as a body Flight Mechanic on Mosquito fighter bombers in the R.A.F., when I enjoyed two flights in that beautiful aircraft. Never regretted my experience in the services.!!
