Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

I stand with our veterans and I’m a volunteer fundraiser for ESVH veterans charity in East Sx. I come from a family of military service going back generations. I know I owe, and I won’t drop the torch thrown by McRae in his poem

Not a veteran, not military, but I have worked as a civilian alongside them in many places – Phnom Penh, Sarajevo, Mogadishu and others. I thank them for their protection and have total respect for their service and sacrifice.

I am already a Veterans’ Foundation financial supporter, and have been since the Foundation came into being. I have the greatest respect for, and give my grateful thanks to, all Service personnel, both past and present. With my father (now deceased) a WWII veteran, I lived with his experience of sacrifice as a leg amputee, and had nothing but admiration for him and how he dealt with the challenge this presented to him throughout his long, well-lived life.
