Join Britain's Biggest Thank You To Veterans

The Armed Forces Pledge is a simple way to show that their service and sacrifice are seen, valued and remembered.

More than 1.8 million veterans live in the UK, alongside serving personnel and their families. From National Service and Northern Ireland to the Falklands, Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan, generations have served our country. The Armed Forces Pledge is our way of bringing people across Britain together to say thank you - and to show that their service has not been forgotten.

Your pledge matters.

Add your name, add an optional message, and show the Armed Forces community that Britain is still with them.

All service and sacrifice matters, but successive governments continue to fail not only veterans but active service personnel, through poor funding, poor equipment, poor housing, poor support. If someone puts on a uniform, we need to respect and support them regardless!

As the wife of a veteran, and someone who has spent over 25 years connected to the Armed Forces community, this is something incredibly close to my heart.

I’ve seen military life from the perspective of a girlfriend, a wife waiting for someone to come home from operational tours, and now as a veteran’s wife.

I’ve seen the sacrifices, the separations, the homecomings and the challenges that don’t simply disappear when someone takes off their uniform for the last time.

Today, I have the privilege of supporting serving personnel, veterans and their families through my work, and I will never take that responsibility lightly.

To every person who has served, and to the families who have stood beside them, thank you.

From my Kingsman to your Guardsman, Rifleman and every other cap badge. Your service, your sacrifices and your families will never be forgotten. ❤️
